RISE AND SHINE
Go for a Run—Daybreak is a walkable community with over 30-plus miles of trails. Enjoy the crisp morning air and spectacular mountain views as you make your way around the villages.
Biscott’s—As you continue west from the lower villages towards the upper villages, make sure to stop by Biscott’s coffee shop for a warm drink and freshly baked pastry.
Head to the Gym or Pool—If running outside is not your thing, make your way over to the Daybreak Community Center for an early morning yoga session or visit one of Daybreaks five pools for a relaxing swim.
Pick Some Fresh Produce—Make sure to take a moment to check out the community gardens located throughout Daybreak where residents plant all varieties of fruits and vegetables. In case you don’t have a green thumb we’ve got you covered. Enjoy the Farmers Market located down Soda Row every Saturday June – September showcasing Farmers, Ranchers and Artisans of Utah and the Mountain West.
LUNCH & AFTERNOON FUN
Head to the Beach—Getting hungry for lunch yet? Grab a slice of pizza from Maxwell’s or Korean bowl from Cupbop as you make your way towards one of the neighborhood’s sandy beaches. Enjoy the afternoon fishing or paddle boarding along Daybreak’s manmade Oquirrh Lake.
Daybreak Duffy Boat—If getting wet is not your thing, catch a ride on the Daybreak Duffy boat and get your very own tour of the wildlife around the lake.
Watercourse (Coming Soon)—Make sure to check back soon as we watch the construction of Daybreak’s own watercourse. It will open early 2022 in the upper villages.
Dog Park—Need a break for your four-legged friend? Make sure to check out the dog park located in the Heights Park Village. You might even have a few moments to sit by the gas-light fire pits across the street. Or take in the awe-inspiring fireworks display on the Fourth of July.
DINNER & NIGHTLIFE
The Porch Restaurant—Looking for a quiet evening dinner, enjoy upscale southern food at the Porch Restaurant, the meatloaf is to die for!
Rockwell Ice Cream—Wherever you eat, make sure to save some room for dessert! You have to try the honeycomb ice cream next door at Rockwell Ice Cream! It will keep you drooling for days.
The Break Grill—Looking for a more lively way to end your day? Grab a table or pull up a stool at The Break. At Daybreak’s own sports bar you can find poker nights, live music, and even karaoke on any given night!
Community Festivals—Enjoy the year round events hosted by the community council Daybreak living including weekly Food Truck roundups, Lantern Festival, Bollywood Festival, Pumpkin Regatta, and a New Years Eve Noon Celebration.
Free Summer Concerts—Every weekend during the summer months, Daybreak offers a free concert series just across the street from Rockwells, you won’t want to miss it!
