Many thanks to everyone who braved the crisp morning chill and joined us at this year’s Easter Egg Hunt. We were egg-static that the weather cooperated and we were able to welcome spring without rain, sleet or snow! It was a hectic dash for eggs at promptly 10 o’clock and even with the 500 extra eggs, they flew off the grass and into baskets faster than we could count! We plan to bump up the number of eggs and candy next year, and are hatching a few other ideas to make next year’s hunt even better.
Of course the best part of our morning was chatting with friends and neighbors. The breezy tunes of the D&J Band and swirls of Lollipuff cotton candy bopping around the field added the perfect dose of whimsy to every conversation. Mornings like these remind me how much I love our neighborhood and community!
A big shout out to Eggs in the City for providing this year’s crafts, Jolley’s and Harmon’s for the candy and Mortgage Brokers LLC for their financial support. And, last, but not least, the Easter Bunny. We are grateful he keeps penciling us in; this is the third year in a row he’s made it! Did anyone else notice his new outfit? We thought he looked quite dashing.
We can’t wait to do it again next year! Comments? Suggestions? Contact hello@nichehomes.com.
